Design Services: SL Engineering provides design services beyond the inspection to design a preliminary or final engineering package for bidding and/or permitting. The packages typically include vertical (gravity) load carrying elements such as roofing, purlins, rafters, joists, beams,  frames, headers, slabs, floors, foundations, footings and subgrades. We will incorporate wind and seismic lateral load requirements into the design. Each package will have a design criteria tailored to the specific location.
